Did you know...
that Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus' entry into Jerusalem?
This story is about Jesus being greeted when He arrives into the city.
One day, Jesus told His disciples, "Let's go to Jerusalem." His disciples looked at each other. They knew that many people in Jerusalem loved Jesus, but some important leaders did not like Him.

When they came to Bethphage and Bethany on the Mount of Olives, Jesus said to two of His disciples, "Go to the village ahead. There you will find a donkey tied up. Untie it and bring it to me. If anyone asks, just say, "The Lord needs it.'"
Jeesus jõudis Jeruusalemma lähedale oma jüngritega. Kui ta oli jõudnud Betfage alevisse Õlimäe kohale, kutsus ta kaks jüngrit ja ütles neile: "Minge külasse, seal leiate kinniseotud eesli. Tooge ta siia ja kui keegi küsib, miks võtate eesli, siis kostke: 'Issandale on seda tarvis' ".
The two disciples went and did as He told them. The disciples put their cloaks over the donkey and Jesus rode it toward the city. A large crowd of people were gathered there to greet Him.
Jüngrid tõid eesli ja panid Jeesuse sinna peale istuma.
Upon seeing Jesus, they were filled with joy and excitement. They exclaimed, "Jesus is here!" Eager to welcome Him, they removed their coats and placed them on the road as if rolling out a red carpet for a king. Others cut palm branches from nearby trees, spreading them on the road and waving them in the air.
"Who is this?" some of them asked. Others answered, "This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee."
People ran ahead of Jesus shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" Others shouted, "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" Many shouted, "Hosanna in the highest heaven!"
Rahvas laotas oma riided teele, raius puuoksi ja viskas neid maha. Inimesed hüüdsid: "Hosianna Taaveti pojale: Kiidetud olgu see, kes tuleb Issanda nimel!"
Several key leaders of the era were neither pleased nor celebrating. They murmured among themselves, questioning why people were honoring Jesus as if he were a king. One remarked, "Tell the people to cease their shouting." Jesus smiled and replied, "If they were to fall silent, even the stones would cry out!"
Unlike other kings who donned gold crowns and rode majestic horses, Jesus entered Jerusalem on a humble donkey, demonstrating that His kingdom was founded on love, kindness, and peace.
