Did you know...
that at the last supper Jesus taught His disciples how to remember Him?
This story is about Jesus eating His last meal and giving a new commandment.

On the day of the Passover celebration, Jesus instructed Peter and John to locate a place to prepare their Passover meal. He said, "Upon entering Jerusalem, you will find a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him to the house he enters. The owner of the house will lead you to an upper room. Prepare our meal there."
Saabus neljapäev. See oli tähtis päev paasapühas. Siis söödi paasatalle.
Peter and John saw the man and went into the house. They told the owner of the house "Our Teacher would like you to show us the guest room where He can eat the Passover meal with his disciples."
The owner led Peter and John to a large upper room where they began preparing the Passover meal.
Jeesus käseb omal kahel jüngril, Peetrusel ja Johannesel korraldada õhtusöögi. Nad üürisid ühes majas ülemise toa.

Upon the arrival of Jesus and the disciples, there was no servant available to wash their feet. Therefore, Jesus poured water into a basin and started washing the disciples' feet himself.
Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it's not right for you to wash our feet!" Jesus responded, "You may not understand now why I'm doing this, but you will eventually." Peter insisted, "You will never wash my feet!" Jesus answered, "If I don't wash you, you cannot be part of me." Peter then exclaimed, "In that case, wash my hands and head too, not just my feet!"
Jeesus valas vett vaagnasse ja hakkas pesema jüngrite jalgu ja kuivatama rätikuga. Siimon Peetrus ütles Jeesusele: "Issand, kas Sina mu jalgu pesed?"
At the time to celebrate the Passover, Jesus and the disciples all sat down. Jesus said, "I have looked forward to eating this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins."
While they were eating, Jesus announced, "One of you will betray me."
Jeesus ütles jüngritele: "Ma olen südamest igatsenud seda paasatalle süüa ühes teiega, enne kui Ma kannatan. Ma viibin täna viimast korda teie keskel.
Üks teie hulgast annab mind ära."

The disciples became sad and began to say to Jesus one after another, "Surely you don't me me, Lord?" Jesus replied, "The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. Woe to that man. It would be better for him if he had not been born. Judas, who was near Jesus, "Surely you don't mean me?" Jesus answered, "You have said so."
Jüngrid vaatasid üksteise otsa ja küsisid, "Kas mina see olen?"
Jesus then said to Judas, "What you are going to do, do it quickly."
Judas stood up and departed from the room. The others assumed that Jesus had instructed Judas to give something to the poor.
Ka Juudas küsib, "Kas mina see olen?" "Jah oled," vastas Jeesus. "Mis sa teed, seda tee usinasti." Selle peale lahkus Juudas.

During the meal, Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and handed it to His disciples, saying, "This is my body given for you. Do this often in remembrance of me."
Then He took a cup of wine, gave thanks, and said, "Drink this wine; it is my blood, given for the forgiveness of your sins. This is how God establishes a new covenant with you." He gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. I will not drink wine again until I drink it with you in my Father's kingdom."

Jesus told His disciples, "I give you a new commandment - Love one another as I have loved you. If my love is in you, then all will know that you are my disciples."
Jesus explained that He was going to prepare a place for them in heaven. He then promised that God would send the Holy Spirit to assist and comfort them. Jesus also prayed for His disciples.
Peter declared, "Lord, I will follow you wherever you go. I am willing to lay down my life for you." Jesus responded, "Peter, before the rooster crows, you will deny knowing me three times."

They then sang a hymn and proceeded to the Garden of Gethsemane, located near the Mount of Olives in East Jerusalem.
